Nice, silent, beautiful place close to the city.
This is one of the magical places around town. Visit it from early to late May when the bushes are blooming, it is gorgeous. It would deserve more protection and care, though, it has significantly degraded over the last 30 years, due to being excessively exposed to tourists. Best time to come here is a morning on a weekday, when there is not much traffic... The fact that some idiots even tried to organize some sort of festival here shows that the people responsible had a total lack of even understanding the significance of this place. I hope it never happens again. Luckily the biker gangs that used the hillsides for practice fields had been chased away. I still often ran into reckless tourists, though.
