The screen is kinda high, and projector is not that strong, so the movies are a little bit dark. The sound system can't keep up that much too. However, my experience going to a movie festival was good.

Cosy place, friendly staff ;)
We went to watch Two Popes film there. Even though the movie had to be in English with hungarian subtitles, there were scenes where they speak in italian and by default there are also English subtitles for it. Unfortunately the screen was cut from the bottom so we couldn't see subtitles and understand half of the movie. Also the quality of the screen is poor and very dim. This made the whole experience even worse. Pay more for other cinemas to watch new films properly.
Best cinema ever - no popcorn, no adverts before the movie start, no tourist mass movements... just an original tone movie in a georgeous cinema room, comfortable seats and a nice little vintage cafe inside the cinema building. Just loved it! Hint: take seats before row 8 bc of the light besides ;)
Small and cosy the relief of the multiplex cinema.
Positive: coffee and tea is good; medium range prices. Negative: staff wasn't friendly; very slow service; tables and chairs are not comfy
Small but nice art movie, good programs, including some old movies. #budapestpride2018
Seats are at level and there is no popcorn but great atmosphere. Coffee was sour, but just as strong as I like it. No commercials, only a few trailers. Recommended for watching movies with original sound.
