If you want to understand love of thousands regarding our lake. Come here and admire the view, savour the sweets and foods, all with a hint of lavender. Main product of Tihany. And the Abbey. Baroque. First document in full Hungarian language, 10th century. The 2 lakes.

The view is stunning at this place, service is really good. You feel like you are in restraunt, waiters dressed up, nice dishes there. They serve delicious desserts and drinks. Prices are okey (tea and dessert was 2300ft). The only sad fact - you can pay here only with cash.

The view matches the service and quality of their items. Great service, kind staff that was helpful and not afraid to guide their guests. Cakes and pastries were fresh and delicious, especially their chocolate cake. Definitely a place for a romantic date or even with family. Dog friendly! Will be returning again!

It has the best view! The food and drinks were good, not bad service. However it does not accept card payments, and the 27% tax is not added to the prices on the menu, it is added on the full bill which is a bit odd!

The view is awesome from this place. The good was OK, but I missed the special taste and quality. It is a good place to have a breakfast here around the opening hours to avoid the tourist's rush.

The view is awesome, really. The atmosphere of the place is just lovely. After sunset, with those little candles, it’s very romantic. The food is alright, nothing special. While the staff is generally friendly, they need to be more attentive. It’s cash only, which is a shame. The ATM outside has bad exchange rates (do not go for DCC) and pretty high withdrawal fees.

In contrast to previous comments, I do think change of ownership and management made a huge improvement at this place. An absolute top confectionery and restaurant with high quality food, excellent sweets, desserts and coffees, friendly service, stunning view. The only drawback why still this place gets 4 stars, is that only cash is accepted, which is absolutely not OK in the 21st century and at such a price tag they have here.
