The cave is really big and friendly to small kids. It was so amazing for us to visit it with our two little boys. The temperature inside was quite low, around 10 degrees so that it would be good to prepare some clothes for visiting. The only problem is that it is not easy to find a good place for lunch after the 11’clock tour. There is a restaurant next to the cave but not many choices for eating.

The one hour long (small) cave tour was very enjoyable. The tour was in Hungarian, but I was given an English leaflet which allowed be to take in the most vital info. I was happy that they allowed me to leave my huge backpack (I was on a long-distanc hike) at the visitor's center. Everyone on the tour wore a mask according to the corona-safety precautions. There were some nice light and sound effects on the way. After the tour I enjoyed I climbed the hill above the cave and enjoyed a nice stroll to the village of Josvafö where the other entrance of the cave is. In normal times - when there is no pandemic - they also offer the long cave tour which allows to walk from Aggtelek to Josvafö undergorund in around five hours. I would have interested - but of course - it is understandable that they do not offer this in times of Corona. In total: A very fine cave with beautiful stalactites.

The cave is amazingly beautiful. However, it’s unacceptable that they have only one cashier. I could pregnant women and elderly people standing on a line just to buy a ticket. Do not give up on going though. I’ve never seen a cave in my life and I do not regret the experience.

Baradla cave is great adventure. The tour is long and cool which is great in the summertime. They offer student discounts if you have your school ID. Inside are several spectacular light and music shows during the tour. My guide did not speak English, but we both spoke German so it worked out.

Beautiful cave, more than on Slovak side. The thing is, that there is only Hungarian guide so we only read the paper guide they gave us. Parking is free and the entry was around 7-8.

Nice walk through the almost 1Km of the cave. We arrived late register in time do the bigger walk and see more of this caves complex, but the small one was good as well. Looking forward to the next opportunity to make the bigger walk.

Worth it. Please take warm clothes. Particularly if visiting with children.
