The highlight of my daily walks. The lake is always different. When the landscaping is done, hopefully sometime soon, it will be the best free beach by the lake. The grassy areas and trees beat any artificial sand, especially in the summer heat.

Close to the railway station, large grass beach with steps, shower, fast food, ice cream, small shops. No dogs allowed and this is taken seriously. Nice swans and ducks.

Surprisingly clean. Most of the people minded about others and were not overly noisy nor unpleasant. I expected far less from a free beach. Of course, it's crowded

As it is a lake, there is no safe shore for children, the water is always cold, but the atmosphere is very good and beautiful

Great location of the lake Velencei as the beach is free. You can have drinks, food and ice cream. It is pretty clean, despite of the amount of people. The parking opportunities are quite limited, so be prepared! Also, they charge you for toilet usage, which is ridiculous.
