Nice and very old castle, from the midle age.

It's not much of a castle , more like a midieval villa with a nice view on Tata lake. Around an hour away from Budapest by train . I visited in winter so there wasn't much to do, but the walk by the lake is quite nice
Historic castle from the middle ages, very beautiful. The area around the castle is beautiful and the lake is breathtaking. THere is a stall that sells hot wine near the castle, a must during the winter.
Fell in love with this place. The second visit to this place was eve more special, as my fried and I were aware that the Netflix show The Witcher was filmed in this castle. It was amazing to consider all the story and that we were walking on the same spots as while recording the area.
A nice historical place to visit and walk around in Tata
Nice place to stop for a day and see the castle. The castle itself is small, but the area around is very beautiful, one can take walks around the lake. There are many restaurants around the lake, this place is also very popular at night especially in the weekends.
Due to the pandemic it's closed, but definitely worths a look
This is a very gorgeous place to visit and spend some time with your friends or family.
