Well organized during the virus too.

Madách Színház/Theatre is one of the many popular theatres in Budapest. Not as ornate as Vígszínház őr Opera, but still a beautiful venue where most people dress for an occasion. Only problem with the building is that Men's and Ladies washrooms are down in the basement on the left hand side of the building only. So as we were on the right of the building, a long way through the crowds of a full house at intermission. And difficult for our older guests to make their way down/up all the stairs. Second time we've seen this particular performance, \Tanulmány a Nökröl\/ \Advice about women\. Thoroughly enjoyed it the first time, even more so the second time. If you visit the theatre, make sure you look up and check out the beautiful stained glass in the domed ceiling.

Nice and easy getting in, and to your seats. Great show (School of Rock). Nice experience.

It is a posh place, very popular and you should be quick to be able to get tickets because it is very popular. We saw a nice performance. The theater was full. But in the buffet only cash is accepted.

Beautiful theatre. Friendly staff. A perfect place to enjoy a show in Budapest. English subtitles above the stage added to my enjoyment.

Went there to see Mary Poppins. The seats are comfortable but you cannot see the full stage and everything on it unless you are in one of the front rows. I can also comfirm that the subtitles were sometimes there and on point but most of the time they were missing or poorly translated. The actors and singers were quite good. It was an okay experience but we would not do it again. Big plus is the cheap price. Tip: dress up a little.
