I was camping in Lupa one night, very good, clean, breakfast was also good and fresh. For the arrival I used the lupa bus from the Nyugati the bus station before Vapiano, if I remember correctly the ticket price was 500 forints and I got off at the camp entrance. The lake is also very beautiful and clean, had a great tent view. A little expensive but worth it, I can only recommend. You can travel with friends or family because the kids have a lot of games, but you can only travel with your partner because there are also very romantic places ;)

If it’s hot in Budapest, and you like to do something completely different. Bring your swimsuit and let your brain think that you are going to Ibiza (comprised into a small lake). There are golf carts from station to here, and from camping site to the beach.

Great place to have a day out with friends
Good place if you want to spend a weekend at Budapest in an alternative way (camping). We booked a tent. It was nice equiped and clean. The lady at the reception have been very helpful and she explained us everything about our stay. The place has a beach bar with food and drinks. There are a lot of families with small kids so it's not for those who they are looking for a party place. The place has showers with hot water.
Luppa öböl strand beach. Excellent price per value. No music, rather silent. Sandy beach, clean and deep water. Big sun ambreallas provided for free.
