1 hour 30 minutes to check our identity cards, travel documents, and issue the sesame to enter Hungary. Fortunately, these people do not work in a hospital because there would be a lot of deaths every day due to their slowness.

Crossing into Croatia on a Monday at 12:40 pm, there were only a few other cars, and only one lane open. The border officers were pleasant and efficient, they looked at my car rental receipt and passport. The border check took only 7 minutes. Fast and painless.

Total schnelle Abfertigung, ich war im November als Einziger an der Grenze. Dieser Grenzübergang ist ein Geheimtipp, da der Grenzübergang auf den Vorwegweisern/Schildern nur für LKW's (PKW sollen laut Ausschilderung über Autobahngrenze fahren) ausgewiesen ist, allerdings existiert trotzdem eine PKW-Spur. Achtung: Wer momentan (Ende November 2019) aus Zagreb kommend über diese Grenze fahren möchte, muss bereits bei Ausfahrt 1 (Goričan) abfahren, die separate Ausfahrt für den Grenzübergang ist gesperrt.
