This is a must visit place if you are in the city. Still with its original interior serving \old school\ dishes. Went back twice as I couldn't have enough)) our waitress was outstanding, exceptional customer service and her recommendation was spot on both of the days. The place is open only for lunch and can be very busy make sure that you get there around 12.00. I would recommend this over any restaurant around the area as the food is very tasty, portion size is great and value for money.

Went here on a food tour, we were served half portions but these were still quite large! The walls show all the famous Hungarians who have dined here and the same family still own and run the place. Great food and can see why it's so popular!
Delicious home-style food at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended the \meat soup with noodles\ (basically Jewish chicken noodle soup but no meat) and the stuffed cabbage rolls. Keep in mind you have to pay for the sparkling water on the table but it was very cheap. Also waiters seem to rely on tips, you give them their tip directly when paying the bill - this is a CASH ONLY place.

Sweet, friendly staff, with warming, flavourful food here are the main points! The food was tasty and very reasonable in price. It's a tiny place so if you see a table pounce in! Cash only, so make sure you have some before heading in.
Amazing authentic place for lunch! Don't miss it! Goulasch, mashed potatoes, fried fish and this great soup as a start. Highly recommended!!
