This is a very well organized tour of the Parliament Building, referring strictly to the English language tour I booked a day before and there were many slots available, granted this is the age of Corona . The whole gang had six tourists so it made for a fun, quiet and leisurely experience The guide was a knowledgeable woman with a bit of an accent that you can get accustomed to quite fast and she was very pleasant answering questions and giving the visitors time to take all the selfies and pictures they wanted The tour was about half an hour long and for the money spent I would not call it a bargain, but can't complain either. This is the only way you are allowed in so not much choice there I liked the gift shop, expensive, didn't buy anything but they have a tonne of stuff

if you really like architect then this place absolute to visit.
A guided tour in the building of the Hungarian Parliament that is highly recommended to do when you're in Budapest. Our 45-min tour was a bit short though (still had enough time for the most known rooms / halls of the building).
Must visit in Budapest. Their Parliament is miraculous and deserves a tour. It's like a fairytale.
You can't miss this place if you're in Budapest. With almost 130 years of glorious history, the building is undoubtedly one of the best structures in Hungary. Hungarian parliament is the symbol of union of 3 smaller cities to form the capital city of Budapest. It's the tallest (other tallest is St. Stephen's basilica) in Budapest and the largest building in Hungary. The parliament house was constructed to celebrate the 1000th Anniversary of the country. One can reach the parliament square, by taking bus 70. The main side of the parliament faces the River Danube, while the entrance is on the other side. Soldier marching sessions are one of the lively things to watch here. The building glows and even looks better in dark.
This beautiful building dates from 1885 and sits right was along the Danube embankment. Wonderful architecture with neo-gothic turrets and arches, it really is a must see landmark on any visit to Budapest. Be sure to visit at night too when the dramatic lights show the structure at its best.
A beautiful building and historical site. I am happy to have visited today.
The visitor centre for the Hungarian parliament that includes the ticket counters, a big restaurant, washrooms, souvenir kiosks and digital display boards for the ongoing and booked guided tours for all offered languages. The ticket price felt a bit too high for me...but have heard that the guided tours are good. This visitor centre is full of tourists throughout the opening times but the ticket lines move fast. It is just beside the main parliament with access through stairs going underground... close to the Kosuth monument.
