Loved the Gerald of Csanad Monument. Great place the start your hike to the top of the hill and see the Liberty Statue and all the amazing views! If your looking to just get to the Gerard of Csanad Monument it is a much shorter walk than it appears but make sure you go up even a little further as the views are stunning.

Great place to start your hike to the Liberty Statue. The are many flights of stairs and no handicap access. Once at the monument you will really only see it from the side, but the views of Pest and the Elizabeth bridge are pretty good. You can park bikes around the corner from the entrance on the far side from the bridge, car parking can be found a little further on near a cafe the seperates the road traffic.

This was our first stop of very nice walk to see the Citadella. It has a nice waterfall here, the view from here is also nice. The saint Gerard monument - he died of martyrdom during the uprising in Hungary in 1046. He was the first Bishop of Csanád in the kingdom of Hungary.
