I love fusion cuisine and idea to connect Hungarian with Asian sounded tempting. Unfortunately, only idea is great, there is something wrong with execution: the taste was supposed to explode but it’s rather flat and boring. They try to build up the excitement with serving “exotic” parts of pork like trottes but mine was over cook and gelly not really something I wished to eat. Service was ok but they have poor selection of drinks: no beer (!with Hungarian food!!!) no prosecco only Champaign etc. Dishes are super small like tasting menu and i basically left hungry after spending 200 for 3 people. Will rather not come back...

Fáma provides a truly excellent dining experience. The atmosphere is great with awesome decor and attentive waiting staff. The Hungarian/Asian fusion approach to food is brilliant. It's like fine dining, without the stuffiness and with big portions. We ordered the 5 course tasting meal and got much more than we bargained for. In hindsight the 4 course would have be more than enough. So even if a bit full, we left having fully enjoyed the whole experience. Definitely one to check out.
Fabulous restaurant with quality food, flavours and service. The menu when we went was a choice of 4, 5 or 6 courses with wine pairings. The starters and desserts were all wonderful, fun and it was a pleasure to enjoy such culinary delights. We personally felt that the main courses were a little limited in meat choice (pork and pigeon only) and although the meat was fab the additions were quite bland. This should not put you off as the menu varies daily and they are quality ingredients used. Service and wine sommelier matched the quality establishment. We’ll be back if we visit Budapest again and would thoroughly recommend it.

Great Asian - Hungarian fusion restaurant! Everything we ordered was superb! I would absolutely recommend the wine selection as well, the sommelier knows exactly what compliments the food the best. It might be a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it! Especially nice for celebrations :)
Excellent fusion of Asian and Hungarian cuisine! This place was exquisite - fantastic food, wine, service and interior design. Nice and knowledgeable staff made us feel really welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed this gastronomic experience!
It is a must in today's Budapest gastronomy. Very creative original kitchen. Lighter dishes dominating you find excellent fish. Wine list and the sommelier is fantastic compared to Budapest standard. I visited twice and this showed the only problem. Because there are small number of dishes and they are not changing it frequently enough it was hard to eat something new the second time.
