Wee gem of a pub and food is excellent much cheaper than in city Centre just off from hero square won’t be disappointed was there in 2019 Staff friendly.

I have arrived there at around 14:30 after a visit to the zoo with my son and mother in law. The kid was sleeping in the cart so we sat outside on the nice terrace. After 5 minutes nobody came there to ask us what do we want to order. I went down into the restaurant and the waiter was waiting there. I told him we are on the terrace and that we would like to order. He came and left two menus. The food was tasty (bogracsgulyas) and the beer was OK. After eating I needed to pay so I had to go down again into the restaurant. The inside restaurant is very nice and cosy. Overall it is a great place, but the service is a bit slow and lacks interest.
Local Hungarian restaurant near City Park. Salad was fresh, soup was authenic, fitness chicken was slightly spoiled by the mildly sour asparagus. Quite a nice find as a tourist in Budapest.
Very straightforward simple place in a basement, food was nice and filled hole - staff were friendly - soup wasn‘t so hot - good place to grab very good value lunch if you are in the area or on the way to the baths or big museums

I ordered spare ribs, but unfortunately my plate had nothing to do with ribs and meat was really dry and stiff. Also service was really cold. Not recommended.
Great place we really enjoyed the food here. The waiters were nice but not too on all the time. Perfect for a nice and cosy lunch.
Delicious Goulash in a nice friendly environment. Great service and nice music. Simply a pleasant experience
