Cafe Vian is a wonderful neighbourhood cafe with great tasting dishes and a super attentive staff. I spent 6 hours there working from my computer and I really can't praise the place enough. If you opt for breakfast I can highly recommend The Miami. Free WiFi and comfy chairs was the icing on the cake. I will definitely come back

Nice warm place, nice atmosphere during Christmas time. Good variety in drinks, tasty deserts..

Wonderful dinner with an amazing personnel. One of the best food/drink venues in the heart of Budapest in a quiet corner next to the Parliament.

Absolutely lovely place, lovely staff and lovely food. We came here for cocktails on Sunday night and loved it so much we brought a larger group back for lunch on Monday. Was not disappointed! Highly recommendable

First cafe/restaurant we visited in Budapest and it was a hit! Very cosy, quiet and relaxing. Excellent service and very attentive staff. The food is delicious too!

Other than it looking nice from the exterior, with nice table/chairs outside - there was not much more to compliment here. The service was unfriendly - to the extent it felt like we were inconveniencing the waiter. We ordered beef goulash, chicken paprishka and a greek salad. All three meals were terrible. Dried beef, a chicken drumstick and there was nothing Greek about the salad. I’ll never go back again and I don’t recommend you do either! There are many better places - PIZZA ME is better!

The best pina colada in the city.

Cafe Vian was recommended to me as a Hungarian Cuisine, and it was partially true. The Goulash soup here is awesome (and the price is OK), however, the other meals were not that good. I am not sure why, but it tasted more like a canteen, not restaurant. The price for the dishes (15 for Hungarian-styled duck (2 pieces veggies)) were not cheap, and the taste expectations were much higher. What is more, at the end you will be offered either 12% or 15% tipping, INCLUDED to the bill. In my opinion, tips are left for outstanding performance, and this is something that I couldn't say about Cafe Vian. P.S. one star is also going for the nice design of the place. It's really nice. However, the service and restaurant performance could be awarded only as 2/5 stars.
