Nice hidden place next to the railway station. This was recommended by a local and have to say not bad. Went with my family to meet a friend over a meal and some of our choices were great but there is space for improvement. The brassoi was extremely salty and unfortunately the kids couldn't eat it. My \matrai\ dish - one with the cheese and sour cream - was good portion (actually the portion size is big) the salad with the blue cheese and cottage cheese was delicious. My wife dish - stew- was a bit tasteless. Service could be improved (only 2 staff member and approx 12 tables where up to 6/8 person can sit) as the speed was on the slower side. All in all this was a \good one\ and if you hungry you should visit.

The best Slovakian brasserie I see so far in Budapest. They have plenty of different beers and shots. The cuisine is really first class, great portions, everything is very well prepared and tasty. Summertime there are tables outside as well. (Next to an emergency station, so sometimes a bit noisy, but still very good.) The interior is simple and nice. The staff’s behavior is a bit strange, but still professional. Give it a try, you won’t regret.

Great place to eat and drink! Great portions for cheap price. The range of beer selection is also impressive.

The best onion roast I've had in the city. Their selection is wide and excellent, the daily specials are great. The grumpy sexy waitress made the experience even better.

Tasteful beers and Slovakian dishes (we had reservation).

While our waiter had the thankless task of looking after five busy tables he was very attentive to my group. He'd sit down and chat and even shared dessert with us, which was fair as he promised not to put it on the bill. Oh, the stories he told about the boss and how dumb he was, were priceless. The other tables seemed less amused, but I digress. 3/5
