If your expectations aren't high you will enjoy this place that is very popular with the locals to the point it was full both inside and outside at about 3PM on a weekday The service is a bit slow and the waiters are not looking for tourists but the menu is in English as well and the personnel are kind enough and will pay attention The food comes in hefty portions, like the tartare could very well be a main dish Recommend it, lower your expectations and enjoy

Comfy and very casual. We went on a Friday night at 9pm and there were only a few other full tables. The food was good and prices were on the low. Service was very nice and food came out in a timely manner. Nothing too fancy or crazy, but that’s what we were looking for.

First night in Budapest and was recommended to this cute place which is just minutes from our hotel. The servers were very nice considering we don't speak a word of Hungarian and the food was very nice! I had the beef roast with onions and chips which was divine and very big and my partner had breaded veal with chips ( which was a bit fatty for our liking). Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend for a nice authentic Hungarian dinner.

This place just feels genuinely Hungarian and in my opinion served the best Hungarian food that we could experience during our visit of Budapest. Prices are fair, staff is welcoming. Definitely worth with a visit, if your looking for down to earth, Hungarian cuisine.

It's a perfect small family restaurant. Food is really good and portions are really big. Prices are another good thing. No hesitate to visit. Goulash are best in town :)
