Great life like statue of the the great man It aligns perfectly with the dome of the Parliament Building Every former communist country should honor this man

Nice satue, around the square nice green, but is original of Reagen? If yes he was big man
It’s a great piece of public art, and a pretty good likeness of “The Gipper” - but I’m still puzzled by its placement. It stands in the shadow of the Soviet Monument with Parliament in the background and on the other side of the square from the US Embassy. Although Reagan’s domestic policies were terrible, there’s no denying his contribution to the end of communist rule in Central and Eastern Europe. Local legend says that if you shake his hand it will bring you good luck.
Well preserved like most Hungarian statues and monuments.
Awesome place for Ronald Reagan to be standing tall. Liberty Square park adjacent to the US embassy
Nice statue, nothing more.
I traveled to Hungary to see Ronald Reagan and boy did Budapest deliver. I'm unsure if this is his normal height but he seemed very tall when compared to myself. In the attached photo you can see that I am showing him the magnificent sights of Liberty Square by night whilst the Hungarian Parliament shines in the background.
Yet another one of Budapests great statues, even if it is a little strange.
