GOALS Puli Space Technologies Ltd. is developing a low cost and lightweight, planetary rover platform with high mobility, which can be used for example to prospect lunar resources and support their in-situ utilisation on the Moon, as well as for down-to-Earth applications, like landmine detection and clearance. Puli Space as space technology start-up is a participant of the fast growing private lunar and deep space industry, building on the team's experience from the Google Lunar XPRIZE challenge. ACHIEVEMENTS Since its founding in 2010, Team Puli has built several terrestrial prototypes of its lunar rover, and conducted three major successful field tests in various Moon and Mars analogue environments in the Moroccan desert, on the slopes of the Mauna Kea volcano in Hawaii, and on a rock glacier in the Alps. We hosted the 2014 Google Lunar XPRIZE Team Summit in Budapest, the MoonMars Village Workshop of the European Space Agency in 2017, educated and inspired thousands of people all over the world. THE TEAM Team Puli consists of 15+ active members, mostly young professional volunteers: mechanical, electrical and software engineers, physicists, geographers, IT, marketing and PR experts. Volunteers have invested more than 70,000 hours of work since the start of the project. The team is led by the founder Tibor Pacher, PhD., physicist, who has served as a manager and advisor in numerous international projects. Puli Space also considers it's top priority to promote scientific thinking and to encourage students to follow a career on STEM field especially in Space Technology. NEXT STEPS We are currently preparing our final lunar payload, which will be sent to the Moon by the Peregrine lunar lander of our Moon delivery partner: Astrobotic Inc. (https://www.astrobotic.com).
