Cozy little place, (it's actually bigger than you first think but) it has a nice homey atmosphere to it. There is Köbànyai on tap which is a \traditional\ Hungarian beer. Some people might dis it but it's definitely worth a try. Also, the bar is cash only, so make sure you have some on you before you go. All in all, it's a lovely ruin bar with warm interior and helpful staff. I will be back again.
Very atmospheric place, and it is very well hidden, could barely find it. I was walking down the street with my girlfriend and walked past the entrance- we looked in and thought \what is this place\ There are no signs or whatsoever, so you gotta look for the bushy wall with a door to find it. Good prices, friendly staff.
After many years today I understood why this place is forcing visitors to pay cash only and I say that is all right. There is some contradiction between preserving old values and keeping up a pace with the world around. Works as a filter of some kind maybe a portal or a time machine. Still my favorite place in Bp. And I did not even mention the great kitchen...
Superb local pub to chill and see live music. Great atmosphere and taste of local beers and snacks.
I used to come here 9 years ago and it's the same, which makes me so happy. :) Lovely place to go for dinner and drinks
Only downside is than its a cash only place, but other than that its an awsome pub
Awesome bar with a good choice of drinks and live music at certain times. It is well hidden though so good luck finding it!
