Great old school Rock pub, vinyl and rock and movie memorabilia all over the walls, huge selection of beers, great music.
A good place for cheap drinks and snacks with some rock music. No fancy place but they have plenty of drinks to choose from and basic snacks. Perfect for a laid back conversation with friends or as a warm up place before partying. The location makes it also so convenient. The only strange thing that I wanted to have some water, but I was advised by the staff that I rather should drink bottled sparkling or still water :D - obviously I agreed on it.
Looks like a simple place, service is at the bar, but music is really nice (it's rock...) and you can have beers that are rare to find in Budapest. Some simple snacks are also available.
I loved the place: a decent selection of (craft and other) beers on tap, a wide selection of bottled beers. The decoration is great, vinyl LPs and their covers, posters and flags. The music is great, all rock but not too loud so you can have a normal conversation. Even the (Gents) toilet is clean and smells good which is often a weak point in other pubs. I recommend the place!

Had a beer here while waiting for the line outside Szimpla Kert to become less insanely long. The place was empty but it seems like a nice pub.
Love the place, the staff is funny and kind & they have a lot of unique / very special drinks, especially lots and lots of craft beers. Don't forget to taste local pálinka, too!
