Proper, old school, used record store, whatever genres you're into - vinyl lovers must find something! Good for a chat with staff. A lot of hidden gems in a deceptively small looking space!

It's a great shop with a large variety of records. I went in with the aim to buy some funkier Hungarian records and came out with like a dozen of them. And these are not that easy to find. The guys in the shop are also very knowledgeable and super helpful. One drawback is the lack of record players so you cannot play the records yourself. Still 5 stars!!!

Must-go-to-shop! Nicely divided and labeled records, lots of good finds. I went for World and Hungarian music, left with that and some good disco jams. I spent an easy hour and more with the friendly store owner Christoph, who let me hear all the chosen records and suggested some more, hearing what I am into, which was a cherry on the cake! Superbonus - there is coffee and ice-cream too :-)

Nice little record shop. I had a great conversation about music with the guy working there (wish I remembered his name!). I was worried someone working at a small record shop might be annoyed by a tourist coming in and thumbing through the stacks, but he was very polite, and kind enough to speak English to me. I told him I was looking for some music by Hungarian bands, and he recommended a solid Sexepil album.

Great and diverse selection of all prices and a friendly, engaging proprietor. Budapest has a fine bunch of record stores and this is certainly one of them

As a crate digger for more than 20 years, I have never been to a record store in Hungary like this recently opened gem. The staff is extremely friendly, literate and have a really good eye to locate rarities that bring new discoveries to even the most hardcore collector. Price-wise: you will receive true value for your money. If there was a Michelin-guide for record stores, Kalóz Records would receive the rating: \worth visiting the country for this shop alone\.

It was a great pleasure to visit this store. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me some GREAT recommendations for really interesting Hungarian beat, psych and ambient records that I wouldn't have been exposed to on my own. The store is very neat and well-organized, the prices are fair, the condition of the LP's is excellent, clean and well described. I'll definitely visit again during my next time in Budapest, and highly recommend every vinyl collector to do so!
