A grand entrance to the Hungarian National Museum, and here stands a memorial statue to the Hungarian journalist, writer, poet, and translator János Arany. His statue graces the top of this monument. What you see here is a statue of Miklós Toldi a legendary hero in Hungarian folklore, made famous by János Arany when writing his Toldi trilogy. The sculptor was Alajos Stróbl who contributed incredible works to many of Budapest’s iconic sites.

Érdekes alkotás. Ami számomra furcsa az az aranyszínű csillag, de egyébként nagyon szép.
Statua bronzea posta dinanzi al Museo Nazionale Ungherese, la cui ripida scalinata alla foggia degli antichi templi greci, fa da sfondale perfetto a questa mirabile statua raffigurante Arany János. Egli fu uno dei principali scrittori ottocenteschi ungheresi i cui poemi eroici e storici vennero considerati dei capolavori della letteratura magiara del genere. Da vedere! @gargio76
Restaurálták Strobl Alajos alkotását, az Arany János szobrot is. A költő mellett hőseit láthatjuk, Toldi Miklóst és szerelmét, Rozgonyi Piroskát.
Nagyon szépen felújították, méltó helyen áll nagy költőnk szobra.
