I exchanged money here a while ago and they had a good rate back then compared to the ones around Deak Ferenc ter. If you can afford to go further go but around here this is the most reasonable one. I haven’t noticed they were rude but I speak Hungarian so probably that’s why.

Usually the best rates you will find in Budapest. Consistently good for years!

Rudest service in Budapest! I was astonished to be yelled at for no reason by a very angry woman working here. I simply asked what the commission was and she blows up, asks me if I'm blind, pointing to a sign well above my head. Astonishing! I ask her to lower her voice and she goes ballistic! There are plenty of change offices nearby, so go to one of them instead. Unless you want a wild experience in lack of hospitality.

Exchange rate was pretty good, but on the bill, they showed a lower exchange rate than on screen? I'm not afraid I got scammed, because if I did, it was like 20 Forint less, but still.

Rude and expensive. They almost kicked me out at 9 am because they open at 9, then had to wait several minutes, and then made me to go to a different window. 0.7 percent commission is a rip-off, and they couldn't exchange for the total amount I asked for. Was in a rush, that's the only reason did business with them.

Good rate of exchange, however beware of staff. Always count your money in front of them and make sure they do not put it out of sight. I gave 180 which I had counted twice, however, after the girl put the notes behind the desk i was told that I only gave 160... Untrustworthy.
