We had a great time in this family restaurant. All the dishes we ordered were very good. And the tables outside in the shade are very pleasant. Good espresso coffee as well.

My first time in Budapest and my first meal before heading up to Fishman’s Bastion. Both exceptional dishes. The goulash soup had a smokey rich broth balanced with a lovely level of spice. I can see this as being the perfect winter dish. The lecso was amazing, and the taste of the sausage was to die for. This is an excellent spot to have lunch before heading up the hill to Fishman’s Bastion and Budapest Castle, strongly recommend.

Nice little restaurant very close to the castle district but not that touristy at all thanks to being a bit hidden. Good food, good craft beers, nice staff and nice outdoor seating under the trees.
We sat outside and had a really nice dinner. It seems to be run by a younger couple with the wife serving. Others have complained about her attitude but I think she's just down to business and may not speak English well. We joked with her and she even smiled a bit and served us well. Food was really good for all for of us.
