This is the sort of unassuming gem of a place that every traveler hopes to stumble across. I did, a few years ago while staying at an AirBnB and gained some pounds as a result. It feels like a fixture of the neighborhood, a bit worn with every space used. Two tiny chairs inside for a quick coffee. A cold case for fancy cakes like Dobos Torta, etc., which can be made to order. There’s also 8 or 10 fagyi choices squeezed in next to that and a nice bakery case next to that, which is why you will go here. If you get one thing, get the flodni; one of the better ones in town, but I’ve never had a bad pastry here. I will say though that the ice cream looked a bit tired the last time I went, but that’s unusual. Everything else is fresh. Cash only.

Very good ice creams. Fresh, simple and delightful
Brilliant little place for delicious cakes. We went to a little bakery in Buda at the start of the holiday and it had the most amazing cakes on display, finding this place was a blessing!
