Very professional organizing. Foods are pretty good. I think one day visit is not enough

After the craziest week I've had the most amazing Sunday at the Gourmet Festival! The theme of this year's festival was paprika, beer & bread end. Here's the things I've tried (didn't take photos of all the things, but almost): Textúra Restaurant: cold-served roasted paprika consommé with feta cream and pumpkin seed, slightly spicy St. Andrea Restaurant: lamb-veal, red pepper and raspberry La Perle Noire: mangalitsa baked in french toast, paprika barley Babel Budapest: beer marinated grilled octopus, paprika, bread crumbs - this was much better than I expected, but they earned their Michelin star for a reason :) Beefbar Budapest: kobe&angus mini burger with fermented chili mayo - OMG, this was incredible (actually everything was, but this was clearly in my top 4)! Esca Studio Restaurant: Hortobágyi crepe with a twist Onyx: main course 1: bbq beef rump steak, smoky paprika, beer, bread end on an edible plate main course 2: marrow knuckle tripe stew dessert-ish: bread ice cream, paprika raspberry sauce, beer cubes - this was probably the weirdest ice cream I've ever had, but in the most positive sense! Csalogány 26: paprika goat ragout with bread pudding and mushroom Bori mami: main course: truffle, tomato, green pepper dessert: noodles, blood and plum - as I mentioned earlier, I enjoyed every dish a lot but this was one of my top favorites of the day! Jenő Rácz by Costes: duck breast, yeast infused burnt barley, apple carbon and espelette pepper - perfection again, so rich in flavors and textures, deserves the Michelin star! Stand 25: Made in Hungary - a brilliant duck foie gras, apple, brioche and Tokaji 6 puttonyos aszú, what a debut! Gerbeaud café: mango-paprika dessert DNB Budapest: salty chimney cake, goose foie gras, rhubarb chutney, strawberry It was a wonderful event, I'll be back next time!

Not a good price-to-value ratio in my opinion. Go to the actual restaurants instead.
