Helpful staff, currently open by appointment only, reserve an appointment online and they confirm via email. Everyone was really nice and the building is very modern and bright.

Emergency passport service is completely useless. May as well remove the word emergency. Don’t expect anything under 2 working days. Completed application including paid non refundable 100 fee on Friday... and only after are you told that documents won’t be ready until at least Tuesday and therefore need to cancel my flight and arrange a new travel itinerary. That would have cost a new flight, new accommodation, at least two days lost of annual leave entitlement. Thankfully I hold dual nationality, spoke to the staff of the Belgian embassy, she was super helpful and told me to come first thing on Monday. Emergency passport was sorted within 20 minutes and only cost 8! No need to change any plans. UK needs to take lessons from the other countries and stop treating their citizens like cattle. Brexit will be a blessing for the EU.
my family and I live in London, we travelled to Budapest and Prague for a holiday, enroute to Prague we mistakenly left our suitcase at the bus station in Budapest, all our efforts to contact the station proved futile. We then contacted British embassy in Budapest and Ms Koos was extremely helpful. Through her assistance we contacted the company and found the suitcase which we picked up later.
Went to the Embassy. Website says they are open to 5pm. But it is actually 12:30 pm. So went back in the morning. Guy at the reception said they all free to see me. But when he makes a call to them. They say they I need an appointment. VIA EMAIL So have now emailed. And waiting for 3 hours. And still no response. At least the guys at reception apologised. As even he knew. What I needed would take them less then 5 minutes to resolve. Would give 0 stars. This is what I pay taxes for?
