I love Columbo, and I love statues, so you can only imagine how excited I am about visiting this!!!
Who wouldn't like a picture with the iconic Columbo scratching his head to solve the murder of this poor squirrel. Sharing his name with Falk Miksa (the street name), Peter Falk has been represented here nicely at the end of the street. It's just a statue, but a funny one!

Lovely statue of a famous Hollywood detective.
Just walking down the street in Budapest and bumped into this guy. Admittedly I had bumped my old business partner and rewound the video footage to fudge the timing but the leutenant stuck to me like glue with all these seemingly innocent questions. I was dapper and polite of course, even suggesting how 'the killer' might have done it. His wife (Mrs Columbo) says it's the little things that bother him. Ultimately he caught me after asking 'one more thing' as I was walking away. Apparently he figured me out because it turns out I was played by Patrick McGoohan.
One of the many bronze statues around Budapest to find and see, but at least this one cannot be missed like the miniature ones.
