Visited Aszu restaurant on the Christmas Eve. Everything was perfect! We couldn’t wish for more. The atmosphere was pleasant as live music was playing the whole evening. Exquisite food and customer service. The prices were very fair for this type of restaurant. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Budapest. But be sure to book well in advance for special occasion, it is one of few restaurants that works on Christmas Eve.

Food is traditional here without being too rustic and hearty. The single guestroom has a good vibe, also coming from the tunes being played in most bars in the neighborhood. Service is forthcoming and generally great. Wide wine selection. Starters around 2k, mains from 3-5k. A bottle of red 9k.

Very good restaurant in Budapest, one of the highest rated! We enjoyed business dinner with preset menu. Goulash soup was very tasty, main course was fish which looked great but average taste. Very tasty chocolate dessert.

This is a beautiful spot for a classic Hungarian meal with a modern presentation. It’s also close to the park with the Budapest Ferris wheel... which is a great place to continue after a romantic dinner. Great place to eat for our last day in Hungary. They have an extensive list of wines but we got a local Hungarian beer on tap, which tasted great. The food was delicious, especially the sauces. The portions are pretty large and we were very full after a shared appetizer (goulash) and a starter for each of us. Maybe skip the appetizer if you want dessert.
